LEAGUE RULES
- The League to be called "The Arun Cribbage League." Entrance £25.00 each club.
- Home and away games to be played. Each Club must have at least four and half tables. No substitutes allowed. Void matches count 3 points.
- The scorecards to be sent to the Secretary to reach him not later than first post Monday morning following the match. If any Club fails To do so they will be fined £2; if for any particular reason a match cannot be played the proper night, it can arrange to suit either Club but the Secretary must be notified. E-mails accepted.
- All matches are timed for 8.15 p.m.-15 minutes grace allowed. All Finals will commence at 8pm sharp
- If there are any complaints or rules broken the Club captain must report it to the Secretary who will contact the Chairman and if it Is thought advisable he will call a Management Committee meeting and their decision will be final.
- The names of members to be sent to the Secretary before the first match. Registrations may be made during the season. The Secretary must be informed before commencement of the match.
- Points for the League: Winning Club 3pts. Draw 1pt. each.
- Notice of transfer during the season must be notified to the Secretary by the two captains concerned.
- Entry into the League must be made at the Annual General Meeting. If a Club is not represented, it will be taken that they do not wish to join unless a reasonable excuse by writing at the AGM.
- The Management Committee will consist of one member from each Club; any Club failing to have a representative will be fined £2.
- Any Club playing an unregistered player will be fined 50p and forfeit two points in the League table.
- No more than 16 Clubs in the League.
- Any Club failing to turn up for a match to pay £10 for Sandwiches.
- Any Club giving away 3 games by default will be excluded from the League and receipt of prizes.
- Each Club to provide a raffle prize at end of season.
- Rearranged games to be played before first half, and end of season.
- In case of a tie on points at the end of the season. Trophies will be awarded after a play off.
